When recently trying to install lrose-core on my iMac which still operates on High Sierra (10.13.6), I encountered this error during brew install:
The error was associated with my netCDF library. I first made sure my library was current by running ‘brew uninstall netcdf’ followed by ‘brew install netcdf’. This did not resolve the issue. However, after running ‘brew link --overwrite netcdf’ the install of lrose-core using the ‘.rb’ script was successful. I hope this serves as a help to any who encounter a similar issue in the future.
